The Waterberg Wilderness Lodge lies nestled situated amongst some of the world’s most picturesque areas. The Waterberg Plateau is a breathtakingly beautiful valley which encompasses areas of the Waterberg National Park. This area is rich in geological history as well as one of the earliest sites of San activity.

Our comfortable sandstone chalets are perfect for family holidays or for romantic holidays. Each chalet has its own bathroom with a shower, veranda and access to the facilities here at the lodge. We have two larger family chalets as well as smaller sized chalets available.

For our international guests, we always recommend a safari. The Waterberg area is home to a plethora of different animal species, from the smallest bird through to the largest mammal. According to Biologists in the region, there are over 70 mammal species in the Waterberg area and surrounds. Whether you want a guided safari, or a private hike, we at the Waterberg Lodge can organize you a number of exciting activities.

Guests can also enjoy the Herero Cultural tours, or marvel at some of the 200 million year old dinosaur footprints in the nearby area. Or you can spend your holiday relaxing back at the lodge and swimming in our natural spring water swimming pool. Take in a cup of afternoon tea and cakes, or sit by a roaring fire on cooler evenings.
