Twyfelfontein Country Lodge

Twyfelfontein Country Lodge is situated in the Twyfelfontein area, which has a very delicate and vulnerable ecosystem with the most amazing rock engravings and Bushman paintings found in Southern Africa. It was also declared as one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The lodge is approximately 100 kilometers west of Khorixas and can be accessed along the C39 district road.

Twyfelfontein Country Lodge has 56 fabulous en-suite double bedrooms offering ample space, luxury and comforts. The lodge has tried to preserve as much of the mountainside as possible and introduced thatch roofs, paint colours that blend in with the rock formations and natural stone.

Mouthwatering meals will be served in the dining room at Twyfelfontein Country Lodge. Guests can relax in the lounge, walk around the curio shop and take a swim in the swimming pool. There is a bar for guests who would like a refreshment.

Intriguing rock formations and remains from the prehistoric volcanic action are some of the geographic features you can enjoy. The Doros Crater, Petrified Forest, Organ Pipes and Burnt Mountain along with the fauna and flora offers fantastic outdoor experiences. Guests can watch the rhinoceros, springbok, giraffe, desert adapted elephants, oryx, zebra and ostriches enjoying the wild. There are nature drives, cycling routes, hiking trails, nature walks and guided safari's in the area for you to explore.
