Tsumkwe Country Lodge & Nyae Nyae Safari Camps

Tsumkwe Country Lodge & Nyae Nyae Safari Camps is situated in Tsumkwe, Bushmanland. The lodge was taken over in the beginning of 2008 and allows guests to arrive at the base camp in Tsumkwe then depart by Land Rover Safari vehicles enjoying a two day stay taking you through one of the most amazing last remaining true wilderness areas in Namibia.

Day one at Tsumkwe Country Lodge & Nyae Nyae Safari Camps will escort you through the rich Southern game part of the exquisite conservancy, while day two will allow you to interact with the Bushmen. Accommodation will be made available in two luxurious tents set out in a bush-camp style. The lodge currently has 5 thatched and wooden bungalows as well as 5 conventional rooms with en-suite facilities, which can accommodate a total of 20 guests. There are also 5 existing campsites.

Tsumkwe Country Lodge & Nyae Nyae Safari Camps provides you with a delicious dinner that will be prepared on the blazing campfire. The only thing that will be between you and nature is your tent. At the Lodge guests can enjoy the meals at the restaurant and refreshments at the small bar.

Guests can walk along with the bushmen, observe the way they gather and prepare their traditional foodstuffs, watch them displaying their hunting methods, handicraft, dance, healing and religions. There are fabulous full day excursions departing in the early hours of the morning taking you to Nyae Nyae Pan where you can observe the game and rich flora and fauna. Half day or full cultural tours will also be available for guests looking for an interesting experience.
