The charming coastal town of Swakopmund, Namibia, has become a popular adventure playground and radiates an amazing ambiance. Situated directly on the beach and within minutes from the town centre, Beach Lodge is the ideal base from where to explore the treasures of the area or just to relax and enjoy the magnificent ocean views and fresh sea breeze.

Built in a boat-like shape, the lodge reflects the tranquillity of the ocean enhanced by the glorious surroundings. Beach Lodge comprises of 15 units, with a lavish en-suite bathroom, of which 10 are double rooms and 5 are family units. There are 9 self catering units with a fireplace and fully equipped kitchenette available should guests prefer to cook for themselves. Each of the units is beautifully decorated and offer stunning ocean views from the large round windows and from the private balcony. Rooms without a fireplace feature a heater and some rooms have a ceiling fan.

Enjoy a hearty breakfast in the stylish dining room whilst taking delight in the awesome sea views just steps away. Alternatively Beach Lodge will provide portable barbecue facilities and wood on request which guests may set up on the lawn.

A fascinating array of activities includes quad biking and sand boarding the spectacular dunes, hot-air ballooning, parachuting, and shark fishing. The more relaxed guest can explore the art galleries, museums, snake park, or spend a fun family day at the interesting aquarium. Tour the charming old colonial buildings, brewery and tannery in Swakopmund, and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere while walking along the promenades lined with palm trees. Sit on the pier and watch the sunset paint the land, sea, sand, and sky in a mesmerising golden orange glow.
