Namib Naukluft Lodge

Th unique Namib Desert hosts a variety of desert landscapes. It is known to be the oldest living dersert on the planet. The Namib Desert is the home of the Sossusvlei, with some of the

highest accessible dunes in the world!

The Namib Naukluft Lodge is a 25,000 ha Private Nature Reserve,

which stretches from the Namib Desert to the Naukluft Mountains -

bordering the Namib Naukluft Park on both sides.

The Namib Naukluft Lodge gives you a desert experience with all

your senses: see the seemingly endless plains, feel the dry desert

air, hear the sound of the barking gecko and smell the rain when it

is coming.

The Lodge has a total of 16 guest rooms - ideal for the

individual traveler. Each of the rooms is equipped with comfortable

beds, stylish bedroom furniture, small refrigerator, telephone (direct

dialing), air ventilation, en-suite bathroom and a private verandah with

a spectacular view.

The Camping Site is around the mountain approximately 5 kilometers from the Namib Naukluft Lodge and offers an interlocking stand, ideally suited for the popular igloo tents. There are usually 3 - 5 sites arranged in half circles with their own barbeque; communal shower and toilet facilities. The camping site is ideal for families and groups traveling together.

The site was used for the millenium Celebration and is also suited for small

functions. Beautiful weddings have taken place at this secluded spot - protected by granite mountains and a view over the desert plains.
