Already been to the southern regions of Namibia? Now you can explore the northern regions of Namibia for 5 days. You start and end in Namibia’s mother city, Windhoek, so that your tour already starts with an interesting touch. This breathtaking tour includes trips to the Welwitschia Plant, Twyfelfontein, Moon Landscape and Damaraland, home to desert-adapted elephants and black rhino’s.

A very interesting stop on this tour will be at the Welwitschia Mirabilis’ plants that is said to grow older than a 1000 years. Also enjoy a gorgeous and breathtaking view at Moon Landscape. Take a trip to Twyfelfontein and the Organ Pipes on your way to Damaraland. Go and visit a Himba tribe near Kamanjab. Go to a private game farm after viewing Dinosaur tracks. Just when you think the tour is over, go and visit the Herero graves along with going to a local handicraft market.

DAY 1 - SATURDAY WINDHOEK - SWAKOPMUND

Depart Windhoek and travel via Gamsberg Pass. Packed lunch. See the 'Welwitschia Mirabilis' plants said to grow older than a 1000 years and visit Moon Landscape, before arriving late afternoon in Swakopmund for overnight.

DAY 2 - SUNDAY SWAKOPMUND - DAMARALAND

Early departure towards Henties Bay. Visit Twyfelfontein and the Organ Pipes en-route to Damaraland. Packed lunch.

Arrive at remote lodge in the afternoon for 2 overnights.

DAY 3 - MONDAY DAMARALAND

Morning nature drive in rocky Damaraland, one of the last wilderness areas in Africa. Lunch. Guided walk in the afternoon, or at leisure.

DAY 4 - TUESDAY DAMARALAND - OTJIWARONGO

Depart Damaraland. Visit a Himba trie near Kamanjab and learn more about these nomadic people. See Dinosaur tracks and continue to a private game farm.

Overnight near Otjiwarongo.

DAY 5 - WEDNESDAY OTJIWARONGO - WINDHOEK

Join an early morning game drive. Return to Windhoek via Okahandja. Visit Herero graves and local handicraft market. Tour ends on arrival in Windhoek.
