All cat lovers will adore this beautiful and glorious tour that lasts 3 exciting days. This tour offers a chance to stay at Okonjima (Bush or Main Camp) for two nights. Enjoy interesting game experiences that include an afternoon leopard tracking, a visit to the Cheetah project, cheetah tracking trail on foot and walking trails.
You will radio track leopards from a game viewing vehicle, visit the hide to view animals that’s active at night, and you can also go on a self-guided walking trail. Enjoy a fresh air walk to track cheetahs on foot. There is absolutely no reason to miss this intriguing creature, for they are the fastest cats in the world.
Go and take lots of photos, this specie is more than magnificent and very interesting to watch. Take a chance to get to know these speedy creatures; it will most definitely be worth your time. I personally believe that they deserve our attention.
DAY 1 WINDHOEK - OKONJIMA
Arrive early afternoon. Radio track leopards from game viewing vehicle (15h30). After dinner, visit the hide to possibly view nocturnal animals.
DAY 2 OKONJIMA
Join 'Bushman Trail' or take self-guided walking trail. Afternoon Cheetah Project and AfriCat Foundation visit.
DAY 3 OKONJIMA - WINDHOEK
Cheetah tracking on foot. Transfer to Windhoek before lunch. Tour ends early afternoon.
