Do you feel the need to bask in the gorgeous hot desert sun? View breathtaking canyon sights and enjoy adventurous climbs and walks. Spend 2 luxurious nights at a beautiful lodge on the border of the Namib Desert with its miles of beautiful desert and stunning scenery.
Enjoy a trip to Sossusvlei to climb one of the highest sand dunes in the world, and take in the gorgeous sights of the Sesriem Canyon. You will depart either from Windhoek or Swakopmund and ends in either Windhoek or Swakopmund.
This gorgeous tour will give you a wonderful desert feel, a feeling very little of us experienced. Be sure to stock up on sun protection and of course lots of film for the camera, for every moment of this tour needs to be captured and remembered. It’s certainly different from most tours, but definitely just as worthwhile.
DAY 1 - WINDHOEK (OR SWAKOPMUND) - NAMIB DESERT
Depart early afternoon via scenic Spreetshoogte Pass (or Kuiseb Canyon) and Solitaire to luxury lodge bordering the Namib Desert.
Overnight Namib Desert.
DAY 2 - NAMIB DESERT
Depart early morning to Sossusvlei, climb worlds highest sand dunes. Visit rugged Sesriem Canyon. Return to the lodge for lunch and afternoon at leisure.
Overnight Namib Desert.
DAY 3 - NAMIB DESERT - WINDHOEK (OR SWAKOPMUND)
After breakfast, return via Remhoogte Pass (or Kuiseb Canyon) to Windhoek, or Swakopmund. Arrive at midday when tour ends.
