Ongava Lodge

The Ongava Lodge is situated just outside the Etosha National Park. Our idyllic Lodge is located inside the private Ongava Game Reserve which covers 30 000 hectares.

Our lodge is situated on the top of a hill, giving guests spectacular views over the vast expanse of the African bush. The Ongava Game Reserve was originally comprised of four separate cattle farms that merged. Today, this area attracts many tourists who come to enjoy the appealing climate and breath-taking wildlife.

The Ongava Lodge consists of ten comfortable bungalows, and two extravagant suites. Each chalet has a full en suite bathroom. Our chalets are also equipped with air conditioning, ceiling fans and of course, a breath taking view over the African bush. We also have a swimming pool for you to cool off in after those long hot days.

The main draw card to this region is the varied wildlife. Game drives are one of the best ways to see your fair share nature�s most magnificent creations. The Ongava Game Reserve is home to Lions, black and white rhino�s, elephants, leopards and cheetahs. Guests can also enjoy a hiking safari. Tracking white rhino by foot has to be one of life�s great experiences! Day trips into the Etosha Nature Reserve are also recommended.

Avid bird watchers need not leave the lodge to enjoy a variety of bird sightings. Armed with reference material and binoculars, you can enjoy some unique sightings from the comfort of the lodge.
