DeHoop Camp Site is a fabulous holiday destination offering plenty of outdoor experiences. Accommodation at DeHoop Camp Site consists of:
DeHoop Camp Site offers great accommodation, ablutions with cold water and is very rustic. There is also no power available. The park can be accessed by means of 4x4 vehicles, only vehicles with high clearances like the LDV's and Combi's. Sedan vehicles are unfortunately not permitted.
DeHoop Camp Site has no shops, however there are cold drinks and fuel that can be purchased from the small general store nearby. This shop will only be open during the weekdays. Cook your food on the open fire and listen to nature while watching the blanket of sparkling stars above.
Come and experience the spectacular springtime with its floral display of pure splendour, watch the birds (over 200 species) playing around in the park, go on outdoor guided trails, join the Vensterval Trail which is a 4 day and 3 night trail, spot the Rock Hyrax, Jack Buzzard, Half-men, Hartmann's Mountain Zebra and the Ground Squirrel or relax at the camp site.
